How to configure Backup Data Encryption
In this BDRSuite Feature video series, we’ll show you how to enable and manage backup data encryption to ensure your backups are secure. This feature helps protect sensitive data by encrypting it during backup and storage.
Steps Covered:
1. Navigate to the 'Backup Configuration' section and select the 'Encryption' tab.
2. Check the option to enable encryption for backups.
3. Enter a strong password and confirm it. This password will be required for recovery.
4. Click 'Save' to apply encryption to your selected backups.
5. During recovery, provide the encryption password to decrypt and restore data.
Important Note:
Keep your encryption password safe. Without it, encrypted backups cannot be recovered.
