In this BDRSuite demo, I'll guide you through configuring backups for your Google Workspace - Shared Drive and restoring your data when needed.
BDRSuite offers a complete backup solution for your Google Workspace Shared Drives. Back up entire drives or select specific ones, exclude folders with simple filters, restore to any shared drive, download individual files, and much more.
Steps Covered in the Demo:
1. Getting Started: Download and install BDRSuite Backup Server.
2. Backup Repository Configuration: Configure On-Premise/Remote storage or your own public cloud storage as a storage target to store backup data
3. Adding Google Workspace Organization: Navigate to the SaaS Applications Tab, Data Sources menu, and click "Google Workspace Organization" to add it as a Data source in your BDRSuite backup server,
4. Shared Drive Backup Configuration: Set up a backup job for shared drive, choose the backup repository, Select the shared drive items, schedule backups, and set retention policies.
5. Backup Management: Monitor backup progress, view reports, and manage backup jobs.
6. Shared Drive Recovery: Navigate to the recovery menu, select the 'Shared Drive’ Restore option, choose the items from the shared drive and then select the target shared drive for restoration.
