Some on-screen lyrics are entered into the AI verbatim to produce the image. When the lyric can reasonably be broken down into two complete thoughts, they are entered separately and the images are shown side-by-side.
There are some lyrics which contain ambiguous terms that were misinterpreted by the AI. For example:
The lyric "An immobile skein of tangled nerves exposed" produced images of an Italian soccer player, Ciro Immobile. In order to produce an image that more closely represents the lyrics' meaning, I substituted a less ambiguous synonym, "unmoving," for "immobile." This also occurred with the word "shed," with hilarious results.
Every subtle change to the lyrics for input to the AI was intended to preserve the meaning and tone of the lyrics; after all, the intelligence is not quite up to the task of interpreting art. I do not believe this undermines the integrity of the project.
