Make Your RV More Visible by Adding Additional Tail Lights (Step by Step DIY Installation Video)
I recently added a receiver hitch on the back of our Travel Trailer for our Ebike rack. After following several trailers in our travels over the years I noticed that most tail lights are obstructed by the bikes especially if there is a cover over them.
Friends of mine had Ebikes on the back of their trailer and the tail lights were partially visible. The trailer was only a few months old and was rear-ended because of a following driver not paying attention that their trailer was stopped. Their trailer was totaled with a bent frame and the bikes destroyed (you will see pictures of the damage in the video).
So I decided to be proactive and add additional tail lights as you will see me install in the video. I'm very happy with the improved visibility of the tail lights for vehicles traveling behind us. Your tail lights may be different than ours but this video will give you an idea of how you can improve your rear lighting.
