Domenico Scarlatti - Sonata in C minor K.99 (keyboard tutorial)
Looks like there's more hand-crossing to do in this one.
This was meant to be last week's video, but I seriously pushed to finish this over the weekend. I recorded each hand part separately at a tempo of 80 BPM and set tempo changes to a medium-fast speed. This is one of his longest sonatas to perform with both repeats.
This is a re-upload to correct some perfect fifth intervals in the left hand. I also added markers in the MIDI file to mark the themes in terms of binary sonata form, which is that of most of Scarlatti's keyboard sonatas.
One way to tell that this was written for a 4-octave instrument (probably a Cristofori fortepiano) is to listen and watch the left-hand part at the development section after the first repeat.
