Remote ID is announced for Australian drone and RC flyers
The Australian Government has announced its intentions to require drone and RC model flyers to fit Remote ID devices to their RC planes, drones and other UAS -- just like in the USA. Please read the discussion paper linked below and get ready to provide a submission on this matter.
More to follow on this once I've had time to properly read the proposals and come up with some suggested reactions.
