How To Clean Your Engagement Ring From Home
The easiest way to clean your engagement ring. // Ever wondered how to clean your diamond ring? Your engagement ring goes everywhere with you and can pick up some pretty gross (hello avocado toast from this morning!) things along the way. It's important to keep it clean to not only keep your ring looking great, but also to avoid irritation or rashes from trapped bacteria (yuck!). ASJ jewelry designer Maddie shares her top tips for keeping that sparkler shining with items you already have at home.
NOTE: We use the term engagement ring in this video, but this process works for all fine jewelry grade jewelry pieces with precious metals and tough gemstones (diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, morganite, etc.).

Be careful of other cleaning methods for fine jewelry you may find on the internet. We do not recommend the use of harsh brushes, solvents, or any other abrasive cleaning methods. Ultrasonic cleaning should be left to the professionals, as it can damage stones and settings. For all jewelry that contains gemstones or diamonds set in precious metal, we highly recommend that you have it inspected and cleaned once a year by your jeweler.
