Students from Africa Pay a Visit to KNA
Ohio Wesleyan University Students who are also from Africa paid a visit to Our Little Village with a Big Heart! Four young ladies from four different countries in Africa: Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Republic of Congo and Kenya made a special trip from Ohio to Chicago to check out Kwame Nkrumah Academy! Their professor had impressed upon them that our school would be a blue print of what schools centered in African Centered Education should look like. During their visit they joined our 8th Grade Class during the viewing of a A Time for Justice-aiding in a lesson of how timelines help us understand information better. At this juncture, the university students share with our 8th graders a little about themselves! What a gift to recieve our sisters from the Mother Land!
