In this guide we will learn, How to import leads in Salesforce lightning, from a CSV file.

3. Click on "Import"


4. Welcome to "Import your Data into Salesforce"
there are 3 steps here, what kind of data you are importing, what do you want to do and where is your data located. Let's walk via each. 

5. "What kind of data are you importing?"
we will select leads here.

6. Click on "Leads"


7. "What do you want to do?"
we will add new records. 

8. Click on "Add new records"


9. "Where is your data located?"
we will select CSV file. we will simply drag csv file from folder into the option provided. 

10. Here is our CSV file


11. here is the uploaded file


12. Click on "Next"


13. Verify "Field Mapping: Leads"


14. Note "Edit"
You can click on Change to make changes

15. Click on "Next"


16. Note errors.
here we need a required field company. Let's fix it. 

17. Here is the fixed CSV
Note now we have company information in CSV, let's upload it again

18. Not company in "CSV Header"


19. Click on "Next"


20. "Review & Start Import"


21. Click on "Start Import"
