Enjoy this yoga practice to open and release the psoas muscle as well as strengthen it and become more aware of it's location and function. The psoas muscles play a big part in pulling the legs toward the torso, and considered a "fight, flight or freeze" muscle, meaning that they will often unconsciously clench when we're experiencing stress or anxiety. If the psoas remains very tight or loses stability (over stretched), it can even affect our ability to breathe well. So tune in, and give your psoas some love and attention. Thanks for being here!

Hey there! Thanks for being here! I’m a yoga teacher specifically helping women become leaders at work without burning out. I use the tools and practices of yoga, meditation and mindset work to help women break through limiting behaviors so they can bring their best selves to work and still have some left when they go home to their partners, families and importantly, themselves. If you’re interested unlearning more about how I transform women’s lives, go to my website at www.marialoida.com and send me a message to setup a free consultation to see if this work is right for you.

If you have any questions about this practice, leave a comment and I’ll be sure to respond with help.
