How to investigate and fix slow WooCommerce Variations on single product page
In this video I show you a screencast of me analysing and fixing incredibly slow performance a customer was experiencing.
On their product detail page, they had only 72 variations yet when Query Monitor was enabled it showed that 300MB RAM was being used and 3500 queries were being executed. This meant the page took almost 7 seconds to load.
After the quick fix, the page loads in 1.4 seconds with 170 queries and far less RAM usage.
The fix will vary depending on your scenario but in this video I show you how to figure out where your problem lies.
