In this short film, we aim to deconstruct the true crime genre, taking a look behind the curtain of how a disappearance and missing persons case can devolve through online discourse, video essays, podcasts and more. The project utilises both fast-paced, techno-edited sequences and gritty, kitchen-sink aesthetics to showcase the dichotomy between reality and online fiction.
