Us mountain bikers are rough on our gear, so it's best to get into a maintenance routine that's simple and effective to make your bike parts run smooth for a long time.

Back in the day, I used to wash my bike after every ride, but soon realized it's not good for the bike and over time can do more damage than good. Now that I'm more mature (debatable), I've come up with a habit of taking care of the important parts after every ride.

What do you do to take care of your bike? Let me know in the comments below!
