The One Tile City Challenge is a classic Cities Skylines concept: fit as many citizens as possible into a single tile.
Recently, City Planner Plays took on the challenge in Cities: Skylines 2 using a modified one-tile start and one-hour time limit. So naturally… I had to try it myself.
Same rules.
One tile.
One hour.
No mods.
Normal progression.
But this time, the goal wasn’t just to survive, it was to beat his population.
Using the same constraints and a similar setup, I pushed zoning, density, services, and optimization as hard as possible to squeeze every last citizen into that single tile. Traffic, land value, efficiency, everything had to be perfectly balanced to maximize growth before the clock ran out.
Did I actually manage to build a bigger city in one hour?
Or did the tile win?

Now it’s your turn: what population can YOU hit in one tile? Let me know in the comments.
