Injection Scooter Throttle Body Disassembly and Cleaning Instructions and Sensor Cleaning Precautions *
(If you don't know the throttle body sensors, clean them before disassembling them!)
1. Intermittent engine stalling and reduced power output on an injection scooter with 51,000 km on the clock
2. Instructions for disassembling a Suzuki NEX125 throttle body
(The seat and luggage box must be disassembled beforehand.)
3. Remove the sensor jack connected to the throttle body and disconnect the throttle cable.
(Remove the clamp screws that secure the front and rear of the throttle body.)
4. Remove the air cleaner box fixing bolts to secure disassembly space.
(Remove the throttle body secondary exhaust hose.)
5. Inspect the inside of the throttle body. It should be in perfect condition!
6. Never disassemble an unidentified sensor! (If disassembled without proper care, it cannot be restored without a scanner.)
7. Disassemble and clean the idle sensor.
(Carb and injection cleaners are easy to use.)
8. Thoroughly clean the front and rear throttle body.
(Don't skimp on a few thousand won cleaner when cleaning a throttle body assembly that costs over 300,000 won!)
9. If you have an air gun, thoroughly clean it once more!
10. Reassemble the throttle body in reverse order of disassembly.
(Insert the front insulator pipe first!)
12. Be careful not to swap the sensor jack wiring!
(Incorrectly swapping the sensor jack will cause malfunction.)
13. The Nex125 throttle body cannot be adjusted arbitrarily.
(Some models allow this.)
14. Start the engine and confirm there are no problems. (If the RPM is constant, it's fine!)
15. It's also a good idea to check the air cleaner and spark plug.
