How to repair vibrations and shaking at low speeds on a scooter without replacing parts -
(I'll explain in detail, so even though this video is long, it'll be helpful. I've tried to keep it as short as possible.)
If you're curious about other scooter drivetrain maintenance methods, search for them in my videos. *

1. Jerking and shaking when starting from low speeds or driving at low speeds (10-30 km/h)
2. How to disassemble the stainless steel bumper and footrest side to disassemble the PCX125 drivetrain case
3. When ordering parts, the default is for a person riding the scooter. Disassemble from the left footrest side.
4. Prepare the necessary tools for disassembling and assembling the PCX125 drivetrain case
(Listing the bolts in the order they were disassembled will make assembly easier.)
5. Remove the black plastic case first, then the drivetrain case.
6. Visually check for oil leaks and dirt inside.
7. Begin disassembly with the driven pulley.
(Inspect the internal condition of the pulley housing. If it's in very poor condition, replace it.)
(Inspect the condition of the clutch shoe.)
8. Inspect the drive face.
(The drive face in the video needs to be replaced.)
9. Inspect the condition of the drive belt.
10. Inspect the condition of the move ball housing.
(The move ball housing in the video needs to be replaced.)
11. Inspect the condition of the move ball.
12. There are two ways to clean the inside of the drivetrain.
(Spraying parts cleaner and wiping with a rag.)
(Cleaning every nook and cranny with an air gun.)
13. For all scooters with clutch shoes, sanding the clutch shoes before assembly will eliminate most clutch slippage at low speeds.

14. Here's an easy way to sand the pulley housing. (If the condition is very bad, it's best to replace it.)
15. Here's my opinion on the direction of the move ball. (This varies by mechanic.)
(Assembly is centered on noise, not direction.)
16. Assemble the belt with the lettering or arrow pointing in the direction of rotation.
17. Reassemble the pulley and drive face in the reverse order of disassembly.
(Be sure to place the washers and nuts in their proper places during assembly.)
18. When assembling the drivetrain case, check the condition of the pulley-side case bearing.
19. Reassemble the bolts in the same order as before.
20. This explains how to assemble the PCX125 footrest side.
21. This explains how to assemble the stainless steel bumper.
22. Be sure to perform a test drive after completing the work.
23. If the problem persists, replace the pulley assembly (clutch shoe). (If there's no major damage, most cases will improve based on my experience.)
