Voice Transcript:
I'm actually travelling because my mommy is dying, and I have to get home to spend the last time with her.

So I'm travelling back because I work in Paris, but I haven't been home to see my family in a few months. And if I don't go back today, then I won't get back.

I'm travelling back today because I had to shorten my stay in France because of the hotel quarantine. I wanted to beat the clock and come back before I had to pay 2000 euros and stay for two weeks in a hotel.

I was supposed to leave next week, but to avoid this quarantine I decided to take my flight to today. For the price and also because I need to be at school on the 26th of April, so it's a way to avoid missing the new day of school.

No, I wasn't planning on travelling today. I thought I might have got a little bit more time. I also have three children in France. But since my mommy is in such a bad state, and since the quarantine has been put in place as of tomorrow morning, I'm being forced into doing this.

I was in France to study French for five weeks, in a family and then I went to school in France. We meant to travel back Sunday and then Thursday but we're going back today so we don't have to quarantine for 12 or 10 days.

I think it's absolutely scandalous. So obviously there are people that won't follow the rules but if you have a stable address where you can go to and you can prove this, I don't see why you're not able to do that. It's extremely expensive. Not everybody has that sort of money to pay for this. And I really don't see what the benefit is. I think that at the minute the governments at a lot of countries are trying to make a lot of money or recuperate a lot of money out of the situation. It disgust me.

I understand the logic and I think it's quite a drastic measure to take this late in the game. I think I would be all for it if it was this time a year ago. But now it seems totally impractical and unfortunate for people and I, I think.

I understand it because if those kind of things were not done I'd say the HSE in the hospitals and ICUs would be really, really crowded. But at the same time it is a bit of a hassle for a lot of people.
