How to make a Blood Orange Margarita in 60 seconds flat!
A seasonal twist on a tried & true classic cocktail recipe. It’s a margarita on steroids that drinks as good as it looks. A damn does it look good! I mean look at the color on that drink… Stunning.
The fresh blood orange juice is the secret ingredient here (shocker). It adds that unmistakable bright red hue, brings some natural sweetness and naturally pairs well with the lime.
Equal parts Blanco and Anejo Tequila. Trust me.
Grand mariner for its citrusy profile.
A touch of Campari cause.. well, do I really need a reason? Campari’s f**king delicious. It adds a touch of enjoyable bitterness, further ramps up the reddish color and lends some additional citrusiness.
Some 1:1 cinnamon syrup adds a subtle layer of complexity but any simple syrup should do.
Few drops of saline to bring everything to life and a salted rim FTW.
Voila.
