This Loop is Amazing!!!
Each section is completely different from the next. This is a must-do backpacking loop like nothing I've done before in Colorado.
Day 2 of our 4-day backpacking adventure begins at our first campsite just a few miles from the Lost Park Campground. We started with a climb to the beautiful Bison Pass before beginning our long winding descent down to the creek bottom on the backside of the loop.
We completed 11.8 miles with a 2200 ft vertical climb and 3900 ft in descent.
