Kirov | Russia! The Other Way
Kirov rarely attracts outsiders, be they casual or hardcore tourists but for me, this is was milestone. I have now visited all 85 regions of Russia, a journey I began (without really knowing it), during my first ever visit to what was then still the USSR - Moscow & Leningrad, back in February 1991.
Yet Kirov was more than just a tick in the box; there’s enough here to make it a weekend away - plus of course the obligatory celebration at the end !!
