Is this really a product that will help a beginner to build a long term business? Yes - may be a little difficult to get started initially but could be useful to build a buyer's list and make some sales.
The Front End explains the strategy of the Twitter traffic hack. Traffic/ Buyers is a big issue for newbies and there really needs to be a relationship built with your buyers in the early days. That is why it may take longer to build that level of trust. This should be seen as a starting traffic strategy - over time others will be necessary.
