E181: City Commissioner Candidate | Matthew Howland | WHOA GNV Podcast
This past November, there was a local election for the vacant Gainesville City Commission seat. The race was close between two candidates, Dr. Cynthia Chestnut and Matthew Howland. Because neither of the candidates received over 50% of the vote, there will be a runoff election on January 25th.
Since there will be a runoff, I reached out to both candidates to come in for separate interviews and share why they felt they would be the right choice for the seat. Both originally accepted my invitation, but unfortunately, Dr. Cynthia Chestnut had to cancel last minute.
In today's episode, hear my interview with Matthew Howland, and get to know him a little better!
