The Norwegian Guide and Scout Association and the Norwegian Refugee Council marked the 20th anniversary of the fundraising campaign Speideraksjonen.
The celebration involved waffles and a talk around bonfire in the forest near Oslo. The participants were:
Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, the Secretary General of The Norwegian Refugee Council Jan Egeland, the Secretary General of The Norwegian Guide and Scout Association Stine Heireng, and of course guides and scouts from the 17th Oslo Kampianerne scout/guide group.
The topic of the campfire talk was: What it means for Guides and Scouts to get involved for, and care about, children and young people in other parts of the world.
