The Certified Difference®
Our Certified Financial Planner™ professionals pride themselves on being Experienced, Knowledgeable and Focused on YOU. That’s The Certified Difference!®
Experienced.
CFG’s roots date back to its start in Central Florida in 1976. Through its affiliated Registered Investment Advisor, Certified Advisory Corp, our professionals have delivered financial planning services to countless families across the country. We are one of the oldest and largest independent financial planning firms in the area, and our CFP® professionals have nearly 300 years of combined experience.
Knowledgeable.
Our CFP® professionals are trained in all areas of financial planning. We adhere to a formal code of ethics and continuing education requirements that far exceed the average financial professional, allowing us to provide the most comprehensive and up-to-date advice. Almost anyone can call themselves a financial planner, but only those who have fulfilled the rigorous certification and renewal requirements of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. can use the CFP® designation.
Focused On you.
When it comes to managing your money, there’s a world of difference between a stockbroker and an investment advisory representative. One works for the firm. The other works for you. An investment advisory representative must serve as a fiduciary—a person legally required to act in your best interests. Our CFP® professionals, as investment advisory representatives, have been serving as fiduciaries for years. Along with the designations below, our firm’s independent status and fee approach allows us to focus exclusively on you.
Our Fiduciary Pledge
Our firm’s independent status allows our advisors to offer our services for a fee with superior accreditation. Additionally, our CFP® professionals have taken our Fiduciary Pledge:
Fiduciary Pledge
The investment advisory representative (advisor) of Certified Advisory Corp shall exercise his/her best efforts to act in good faith and in the best interests of the client.
The advisor shall provide written disclosure to the client prior to the engagement of the advisor, and thereafter throughout the term of the engagement, of any conflicts of interest, which will or reasonably may compromise the impartiality or independence of the advisor.
Certified Advisory Corp does not receive any compensation or other remuneration that is contingent on any client’s purchase or sale of a financial product.
Following the Fiduciary Pledge means that Certified Advisory Corp will:
Not accept any referral fees or compensation contingent upon the purchase or sale of a financial product.
Always act in good faith and with candor.
Be proactive in disclosing any conflicts of interest that may impact a client.
