Modelling the interior of a room with Videotrace
The video shows the process of modelling the interior of a room with Videotrace, our image-based modelling package (downloadable at www.punchcard.com.au). Most of the geometry is completed within 40 seconds, with the rest of the process being about adding detail.
This model was created to show that Videotrace might serve a useful part of a BIM system, as BIM requires models of existing buildings, for which no plans exist. It can also be used to model more than just the building itself, including furnishings, alterations, and other detail.
