The Downfall of Minecraft SMPs

Minecraft SMPs have evolved greatly over time, with HermitCraft, SMP Live, SMP earth, Dream SMP, Lifesteal SMP, and many more, we have seen the genre rise, but recently it's been severely going down in viewership, and trying to find out why.
A lot of this video are my personal opinions on SMPs, and how they've evolved throughout time. And if you don't agree with me feel free to comment how you feel I'm wrong, I'd seriously enjoy the feedback!
Also I do wanna add and make this crystal clear, I heavily respect people who make SMP content, I just personally think the content is stale and just generally feels like they're meant to follow the YouTube meta for views. I am not saying they are, but it feels like that. I was not bashing on the creators, I was bashing on the YouTube meta.
Video essays / commentary are something I'm trying to take a stab at, so in the future I may make more, or I'll keep trying different things, who knows!
Also a lot of the clips at the end are various clips from SMP Live, SMP Earth, Dream SMP, Hermitcraft, and Lifesteal, but also a few of my own 2020-2021 SMP Clips!
