Summer is here, and with it, vacation plans for children with ASD (as you know, this is our main focus on the channel). We know it can be a very complicated time, full of doubts and uncertainty, and that many families end up giving up on vacations or traveling away from home to avoid conflict. Quality of life concerns us all, and we all deserve a good vacation to enjoy as a family after a whole year of work, stress, and in this case, after more than a year of pandemic where confinement has been the norm. Traveling with children with ASD and enjoying a well-deserved vacation is possible. This month I've received countless questions related to this topic, and I've tried to compile the most frequently asked ones into the 5 tips I'm sharing in this video.
It's perfectly fine if it's winter in your country right now (we know we have a large Latin American audience, and I'm thinking of everyone), these tips will always be useful for any kind of vacation or special event that involves leaving the house for leisure and changing your daily routine.
