"Hoyoverse has dropped the drip marketing post for characters who will be released in version 5.1, and it's really confusing. According to what the dataminers had said, Xilonen and Iansan would become playable in version 5.1, so everyone was expecting to see Iansan as well. But Hoyoverse has only revealed Xilonen for 5.1 and not Iansan, so it's one big L for DK2 and HxG, who said Iansan would be there. And for those who say that white is unreliable, well, they're the only ones who said there would be no new 4-star character in 5.1.
We already knew that we would get only one 5-star in 5.1, so everyone thought we would get a new 4-star character for sure, and it has been Hoyoverse's trend since Genshin Impact's release. So version 5.1 is going to be the driest X.1 patch ever in terms of character release. We got Zhongli and Childe in 1.1, Raiden & Kokomi in 2.1, Cyno & Nilou in 3.1, and lastly Wriothesley & Neuvillette in 4.1, so for them to give us only one new character in 5.1—I don't know what they're thinking.
Anyway, let's take a look at what we know about Xilonen and the new information that has been revealed. She will be a 5-star Geo sword user, and her constellation is called Panthera Ocelota. We also got a voiceline from Mavuika about Xilonen, and it looks like they're really good friends.
Here's some information about her Elemental Skill and Burst. During her E, she enters the Nightsoul's Blessing state as a Leopard Spirit, and in this state, she can move very quickly like Yelan. Using her Elemental Skill again will exit this state, similar to other Natlan characters. The Nightsoul effect initially has a 6-second countdown, and hitting an enemy in this state will add 2 seconds to the countdown. If the countdown reaches 12 seconds, she will exit the Nightsoul state and enter an Enhanced state, which lasts for 2 seconds. One more thing, this countdown will be paused while climbing, so it's something similar to Kirara's skill.
When she enters the Nightsoul state, she reduces the resistance of nearby enemies based on the jewel's element, and she can reduce the resistance of nearby enemies by 36% at C0. When she leaves the Nightsoul state, she will produce a resistance-reducing halo.
Additionally, in the Nightsoul state, Xilonen gets some jewels, 3 to be exact, and these 3 jewels will light up with different colors based on the elements of your party members. The first jewel will light up according to the number of Pyro characters, then Electro, then Hydro, and then Cryo. Finally, all remaining jewels will light up with Geo if the party doesn't have more than 2 characters of different Elements.
Moving on to her Elemental Burst. During her burst, Xilonen unleashes her Leopard Spirit onto the field, which lasts for 9.3 seconds. The Leopard Spirit is attached to the active character and provides different buffs according to the number of Pyro, Hydro, Electro, Cryo, or Geo characters in the team.

But if you ask me, Xilonen is looking like a must-pull character, and she might play a huge role in Natlan's meta. Although her full potential is locked behind her constellations, like the recent Fontaine characters, she will be really useful for new and old characters even at C0.
