Rhode Island Stun Gun Ban Repealed!
Rhode Island's stun gun ban has been repealed by the U.S. District Court! Stun guns and TASERs are now legal in the state, pending any legislative restrictions that may be imposed (such as a license to carry, a CCW or FOID card, requirement).
This judicial decision marks the last state in the United States to have its restrictive stun gun ban repealed. There are still certain city and county restrictions in place across the U.S., however. Michigan, as of 4/18/22, seems to be the only state that allows TASERs but outright bans stun guns.
