In this video, I share my personal experience with Samsung flagship phones, including the Samsung S22 Ultra, Samsung S24 Ultra, Samsung Fold 4, and Samsung Flip 4. While I've always considered Samsung one of the best non-Apple brands, a recent incident made me rethink my loyalty.
After my wife updated the security software on the Samsung S22 Ultra, a bright horizontal line appeared on the screen, damaging the display. After researching, I found that many Samsung users reported similar issues after updating their phones. The only workaround was to reduce the display quality, lower the brightness, and use power-saving mode, which significantly diminished the phone's performance.
When I visited the Samsung Service Center, they blamed the issue on possible drops or dust, refusing to take responsibility. They suggested repairing the device at my own expense, which made me question if this is part of a strategy for planned obsolescence—forcing users to upgrade or pay for costly repairs.
