Rebuilding A Wood Gable End Vent
Gable end vents were often installed to help ventilate roofs and attic spaces, but they do tend to take a beating from weather and time. In this case squirrels had also chewed away at the louvers! Purchasing a replacement in the right size was going to be a chore, so I removed the original, took it back to my shop, and rebuilt the assembly using new wood. I'll show you how I did it in this video.
