Compassion for Autism Project Development - Spring 2024
In its 3rd year of development by students at Rowan University under the guidance of Dr. Lecakes, Compassion for Autism is an instructional trainer for parents and physicians. Purposely designed to educate on methods of communication and best practices.
Spring 2024 Objectives:
Continue development of a virtual reality (VR) trainer for parents and physicians to help them compassionately work with children who have autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Using the Unity Engine, and the Meta Quest 2 you will learn how to program, model/texture 3D assets, and design levels and game mechanics.
