Drawing up the Bobbin Thread on the Continental M17
The Continental M17 can begin regular sewing without drawing up the bobbin thread, due to the advanced needle plate, however you do need to draw up the thread when sewing gathering stitches and smocking. This video demonstrates the steps to take in order to properly install the bobbin, and draw up thread.
