Friday Night Funkin', often shortened to FNF, is an upcoming rhythm video game developed by The Funkin' Crew Inc. and released on Newgrounds in 2020. The game is developed by a small group consisting primarily of Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game is also open-source. It shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution, PaRappa the Rapper, and the "Dance Contest" minigame from Club Penguin, and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games. The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site that rose in popularity in the early 2000s.
Sunday Night Suicide is a mod created by The_Mayz and SonicBoyForLife. It’s nature is derived from the original Suicide Mouse creepypasta, which consists of a monochrome cartoon displaying a looped animation of the OG Disney character — Mickey Mouse — strolling alongside a desolated environment erected with several buildings, accompanied by eerie piano music and muffled screams while Mickey’s mental health slowly deteriorates and begins going insane. This cartoon has also inadvertently, and unfortunately caused a case of suicide in the creepypasta — implicature of its deranged and uncanny nature, emitting feelings of desolation and dread among Theodore’s wake, in every step that they take.
