How to Fix Slack Is Trying to Add a New Helper Tool on Mac

Slack is available on the Web and as an app on Android, iOS, Windows and Mac. Those who use Slack on Mac have been facing a really annoying pop-up for the last few years.
They see a pop-up “An update is ready to install. Slack is trying to add a new helper tool.” throughout the day. The pop-up shows the user name and asks to enter the Mac password. When the users enter the password and tap on Add Helper button the pop-up goes away.
But the most annoying thing is the pop-up returns again after a few hours or when they restart the app. The issue is occurring only for the Mac users who have installed the Slack app from their website and not from the App Store. Thankfully, It is possible to get rid of this app and I have explained two ways to do so.
