Retired Army Colonel Working To Honor Vietnam War Hero
I met recently retired Army Colonel Jeremy Bowling.
He had a long and outstanding military career, and we had a long conversation about how he wants to honor specifically Vietnam Veterans.
Right now, he is working on a trip for family members and others to Vietnam to visit the location of the heroic combat action of Rodney Maxwell Davis.
Davis jumped on a grenade to save fellow Marines, and was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.
