This is also a test of recording RPGmaker games via OBS in higher quality. Optimal settings for fullscreen game capture are:
Specified window to .exe
Base (canvas) resolution: 640x480
Output (scaled) resolution: 1920x1440 (on FHD screens, can probably go higher on 2-4k)
Bicubic downscaling filtering
Default settings were utilized outside of this
Default aspect ratio in most RPGmaker games, even when fullscreen, will always be 4:3 and output must reflect that regardless of the resolution and quality. You will usually see weird stretching or uneven black bars upon preview with wrong resolutions or aspect ratios.
