The Power of Feminist Mentorship
“The support of my mentor has impacted me because she has helped me to believe in myself,” says Miriam, student at our partner organization, MAIA Impact School. At She's the First, we work to ensure a robust ecosystem of support for the most underserved girls against systems of gender oppression. We've seen that feminist mentorship is a vital component of a girl's support architecture. Feminist mentors are essential to safeguarding girls’ rights to be educated, respected, and heard.
