Up Close: MotoGP Australia 2015
Took an impromptu jaunt to Australia, and got to see what goes on behind the scenes at a MotoGP race at Phillip Island. I got to meet a ton of photographers, journalists, PR people, riders, mechanics, etc that cover the races all over the globe. They are like one big family and they all spend a crazy amount of time away from home going from one race to the next. I got to spend time in the media center where the journalists and such work and I also got to see the action from the garage of Tech 3 and from areas of the track that the professional photographers have access to. It was mind blowing to see the racers up close!
I didn't have a permit to take video so here is a compilation of the photos I shot on location! Much thanks and hugs to Andrew Wheeler, who showed this Grom Girl what MotoGP is all about!
