CANNES & its INCREDIBLE CHRISTMAS MARKET
The CANNES CHRISTMAS MARKET is my FAVORITE!!!
It's the symbol of CONVIVIALITY and GASTRONOMY. Every year, I wait for one thing: for it to open so I can rush there!!
So this year, as I embark on my great TRAVEL VLOG ADVENTURE, I decided to introduce you to it by sharing my first outing with you!
I've lived in CANNES for 6 years. Our city is MAGICAL!
And its Christmas Market has soul, something rare, an incredible friendliness that you find in the Alsatian Christmas Markets. Everyone laughs, everyone clinks glasses, you meet nice people at every stand!
I filmed this VLOG last weekend, before a horrible attack plunged my hometown of STRASBOURG into mourning. This is also why I draw comparisons between the extremely warm atmosphere that emanates from the Christmas markets in my hometown and those in my adopted and beloved city, Cannes. It takes on a dimension that wasn't anticipated.
I'd like this Vlog to be viewed with a festive outlook and with the deliciousness and flavors I've tried to convey in the video, but also with a thought for the victims, their loved ones, and the residents of Strasbourg who are grieving and in shock, as I am deep down.
So now, let life get on with it! Enjoy this video, then rush off to feast for real at the Cannes Christmas Market, drink some good mulled wine, eat succulent oysters at the Azur Coquillage Stand, delicious raclette at the Chalet Suisse, a delicious tarte flambée at the Alsatians, and the famous Jamon Ibérico that's mouthwatering, accompanied by tapas, small garlic cuttlefish, and other patatas bravas at Rodolphe and his wife's Ibérico Stand!
And don't forget to say hello to everyone from me when you're there!!
