How having an LGBTQ+ sibling has impacted my life?
Ever since my sister began her transition from a male to a female at 5, I have been a supportive brother. In the years following her transition, my family began to appear publicly on television. I loved the idea of being on TV but never recognized the magnitude of my influence and how I could be a role model to other siblings of LGBTQ+ people. As I continued to mature and my family's platform began to grow, I finally realized a need for someone to fill that role and be that role model.
Today, I embrace my love for the LGBTQ+ community by educating allies and supporting my LGBTQ+ friends, fans, and family. I know I still have a lot to learn, but I am committed to being the best ally to all possible. If you are LGBTQ+, I hope you watch this and know I am there for you. If you're an ally, I hope you learn from my allyship journey and want to grow as a better ally. I love you all. Stay safe! :)
