Hurricane Sandy Emergency Management Response Map
Hurricane Sandy Emergency Management Response Map is an application that assists emergency responders in resource allocation and situational awareness activities during crises, using Hurricane Sandy as a case study. It was developed by Andrew Homka, Sidharth Pandey, John Shaner as a class project for Dynamic Cartographic Representation (Geog 461W), offered at Penn State Geography and taught by Dr. Alan MacEachren. Geog 461W projects focus on design and production of a dynamic, map-based, web-capable geospatial tool targeted to support some clearly articulated objectives.
