Lamentations is a difficult book for many who seek encouragement and inspiration in their daily relationship with God. Yet, for those who are in a place of suffering, becomes a book of solace. Over 5-weeks, we will explore how this often complex and misunderstood book of poems serves as a witness for us to recognize we are not alone in our pain. As we learn to lament and process our grief, we also learn to hope again.

At the end of our Sunday Gathering this morning, a church member had a medical emergency. Pastor Jordan called 911, and numerous emergency medical professionals who are in our church body attended to the individual in need. The Truckee FD ambulance arrived quickly and effectively. Thank you to Ryan Aldrich and his safety plan for assisting in this situation. The person was responsive and cognitive when they left for the hospital. Thank you to the men and women in our church who helped with this situation and all of you who will join together in prayer for a full recovery. We are grateful to be a part of such a loving and caring church family.
