Guitar Secret Revealed! Unlocking Guitar Intervals
In this guitar class, we’ll use the A shape chord and the E shape chord to create easy guitar intervals for major chords and minor chords. One key concept is knowing where to find the notes on a guitar. Piano intervals can be easy to see, but on a guitar it’s important for you to memorize these efficiency hacks since they’ll make music theory for guitar much easier to understand. We’ll cover discuss some basic music theory and chord structures, and merge intervals together so you can incorporate them and use them when playing many of today’s top pop, praise and worship, country, and even rock songs. This simple concept of overlapping intervals, root notes alongside 3rds and 5ths, will not only create great melody’s, but they make playing your guitar much more fun. This is part of a series where we’ll cover the following:
Rhythm guitar and lead guitar chord intervals that you can play over multiple genres including Country guitar progressions, Praise and Worship guitar, Pop guitar progressions.
You'll have a better understanding of common guitar picking techniques like drones and pedal-toning; both of which are common guitar techniques used by professionals in the recording studio and when playing live.
