In The Power's Podcast, I am personally trying manifestation methods as a scientist: I decided to note down my initial level of resistance (R0) and measure my resistance level 3 times (R1, R2, R3), doing the exercise in a way through which it could realistically work for me in a short amount of time. Then I use the data to understand how and if the manifestation method in the video is working in the situation. I measure resistance because a more scientific approach to manifestation is that when you lower your level of resistance towards a specific goal it is more likely that you believe you can achieve it, and that creates a new behavioural pattern and a new identity aligning you with the version of yourself that can actually serenely achieve this goal, so there are many more probabilities of success.

✨ Technical Note on ΔR (Delta R) – Resistance Measurement
In this specific episode, I used the data to calculate the average level of resistance:
Ravg = (R1 + R2 + R3) / 3. This is the mean of the three measurements.
Then, with my assistant Charm we decided to calculate ΔR as follows:
ΔR = Ravg − R0
Where:
• R0 = initial baseline resistance
• Ravg = mean of the three measurements
So mathematically:
Ravg − R0 measures how much the average resistance shifted compared to the baseline.
Interpretation:
• If ΔR is positive → average resistance increased compared to the starting point
• If ΔR is negative → average resistance decreased compared to the starting point
• If ΔR equals zero → no change
This is simply the difference between the sample mean and a reference value.
It has the same magnitude as (R0 − Ravg), only the sign changes.
Using “Observed minus Baseline” is the more standard statistical convention, which is why I chose Ravg − R0.

What is manifestation?
Philosophical perspective:
“You are already that which you want to be, and your refusal to believe this is the only reason you do not see it.”
— Neville Goddard
“Your mental attitude, i.e., the way you think, feel, and believe determines your destiny.”
— Joseph Murphy, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind
Psychological perspective:
Psychologist Dr. Tchiki Davis (Berkeley Well-Being Institute) defines manifestation as turning an idea into reality through the interaction of thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and action, emphasizing that mental focus shapes behavior, and behavior influences outcomes.
Neuroscientific perspective:
Neurosurgeon Dr. James R. Doty (Stanford University) explains that what is often called manifestation can be understood as embedding intention through repetition and focused attention. From a neuroscience standpoint, repeatedly focusing on a goal strengthens neural pathways related to motivation, attention, and behavior, making goal-aligned actions more likely over time.
Neuroscientist Dr. Tara Swart describes how visualization and verbal repetition can influence the brain’s attentional systems, including the reticular activating system (RAS). By consistently focusing on an intention, the brain becomes more likely to notice relevant cues and opportunities aligned with that goal.
