A unique case of writer's block.
Written, filmed, edited and scored in under a week for Lansing Capital Film Festival's Fortnight competition, we had 2-weeks to make the best possible short film film under 10 minutes we could - although the cut you are seeing a far more refined version version with full credits. And it payed off because we won an unbelievable 1ST PLACE!!! The required elements were: flowers, the line "It's not too late.", staircase, high five or handshake and I think one more but i can't remember what it was if there was one. It truly is amazing that we placed so high given the duress we made this film under (and trust me I would like to go back in time and alter a few things - and actually I could still make a few editing changes but i have to work on releasing the new Resident Evil fan film!), but making the short film that we wanted to see up on the big screen regardless if we won as well as relying on influence from our favorite movies definitely paid off in the end. Much gratitude goes out to the Lansing Public Media Center and the Lansing Capital Film Festival for putting this contest on.
