Version 2.0 - Penancony - Upcoming Character Banner Order | Honkai Star Rail
Hello everyone! In this video we will talk about the new upcoming characters in version 2.0. Version 2.0 will likely be released on february 7. This update will feature a new planet, Penancony and of course new characters. Hoyoverse officially released the drip marketing of the characters for this version. The first drip marketing was for a new 5 star character named Black Swan. Black Swan is a 5 star character using the element of the wind from the path of nihility. She is a Memokeeper working for the Garden of Recollection. She seems to be a being like the Stellaron Hunter's Elio who can know what happens in the future or more specifically what has been foretold. She was first shown in the Myriad Celestia Trailer: Fables About the Stars Part 1, where the Aeons were introduced one by one.
The second 5 star character, who got a drip marketing is Sparkle. Sparkle is a 5 star character using the quantum element and she is from the path of harmony. Sparkle is a master of theatrics and a member of the Masked Fools, an organization that follows Aha the Elation. She owns a lot of masks and is known to have many faces. Sparkle is interested in amusement and is trying to get into the Genius Society. And the new upcoming 4 star character in this version will be Misha. Misha is a 4 star character using the ice element from the path of destruction. He is a thoughtful and hardworking bellboy of The Reverie Hotel. He is skilled at fixing different kinds of machines and enjoys sharing interstellar rumors with guests. One day, Misha hopes to become an intergalactic traveler like his grandfather and go on his own grand adventure. As for the order of these limited banners, they will be released in the same order as they got their drip marketings. So in the first phase we will get Black Swan, and in the second phase we will get Sparkle. As for Misha, it's likely that we will get him in the second phase. Though in version 1.6 the 4 star character release didn't follow the drip marketing order, but it was a special case as we got the 5 star character from the second phase, Dr. Ratio, for free. So they put the new 4 star character on the first banner, so everyone had a chance to get it even if they didn't summon from Dr. Ratios banner. What do you think, who are you saving for?
