This is a video showing what will be a common transfer for transit riders traveling from Sounder/Amtrak travelling North to SLU or Seattle Center for example if the N/S of CID option is selected instead of the far better station in the CID between the current Link station and Sounder/Amtrak.
This is the second in our series showing awkward transfers related to the proposed N/S of CID option. In each case, we're showing the most direct route which involves a long walk. There will generally be an indirect/also slow transfer option as an alternative.
Our travel times only include the walking time above ground (in this case, 10 minutes and 52 seconds) and do not include the time that it will take to get to the platform (N/S of CID are both planned as deep stations) and to wait for a train.
