Proper Scope Mounting: Vortex Strike Eagle on Savage 93R17
The Savage 93R17 is a great gun, but is definitely being limited in it's abilities by the Gamo scope that we started with. Today we swap the Gamo 3-9x40 with a Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18x44 to give us better image quality, more reticle capabilities, more magnification, parallax adjustments, and illumination. This should be an upgrade that will let us push the .17HMR out quite a bit further and give us a better chance for solid hits downrange.
