stumbled into this cafe on a rainy day in kyoto to wait out the weather and it felt like we had wandered into a real life studio ghibli cafe

it was the best homecooked like meal we had finally had in 3 weeks of traveling, literally could have cried. it’s easy to see why this spot has nearly all 5 ✰ reviews!
also the husband’s glances at his wife throughout 🥺 the cutest. if you’re in Kyoto by Toji Temple, please go support this homey cafe! ☺️
